About
Hi there — Kit here! I am a cartoonist and illustrator living in New York's Hudson Valley. My stories roam from the strange space between dreams and waking life to non-fiction comics, sometimes semi-autobiographical, sometimes educational. Most of my illustrations and patterns are what I hope my whole life to be — colorful, full of plants, kind of strange. Some clients include The New Yorker, The Stranger, The Nib, California College of the Arts and SparkNotes. My work has been published in anthologies and a whole bunch of zines and mini-comic books, bound lovingly by hand. I also lead art and storytelling workshops for all ages, so reach out if your group is looking for a teaching artist! I have facilitated educational sessions at libraries, California College of the Arts, Sequential Artists Workshop, and the Museum of Modern Art in New York City.
